How do I get there within Edinburgh?

By Bus: 

The following services pass close to Murrayfield Stadium:

Lothian Buses: 1, 2, 22, 30 at Westfield Road, 3, 25, 33, 38 at Gorgie Rd, 12, 26, 31 at Corstorphine Road

AIRLINK 100: Corstorphine Rd

First Bus: 21A, 22, 38, 38A at Corstorphine Rd

Scottish Citylink: 900 at Corstorphine Rd

 

By Tram: 

Edinburgh Trams runs a fast, frequent service to the entrance of Murrayfield Stadium from locations such as Edinburgh Airport, Ingliston Park & Ride, Edinburgh Gateway and Haymarket.

 

Tickets must be purchased prior to boarding trams using the ticket vending machines at trams stops. Return tickets are available from tram stop ticket vending machines with options available for both the city fare zone.

By Train: 

Waverley Station (Edinburgh): short bus, tram or taxi ride.

Haymarket Station: 20 minute walk or a short tram or taxi ride.

How do I get there from outside Edinburgh?

By Car: 

From the M8/M9

If you are travelling on the M9, join the M8 head for the roundabout at Hermiston Gait. Follow the Edinburgh City Bypass (A720) North to the next roundabout and follow signs for the city centre and then signs for Murrayfield Stadium. The on site car park contains over 800 car parking space.

 

From the South: West and North West 

Take the M6 north leading onto the A74 (M) and then M74. Follow signs for Edinburgh taking the A8 route leading you onto the M8 (Edinburgh), then follow the Edinburgh City Bypass North to the next roundabout and follow signs for the city centre and then signs for Murrayfield Stadium.

 

East 

Take the M1 north, leave at Scotch Corner onto A66 then onto M6 North and follow as above.

 

North East 

Taking the A1(M) north, follow signs for Jedburgh and join A68. Continue on A68 following signs for Edinburgh. Join A720 and head North to the next roundabout and follow signs for the city centre and then signs for Murrayfield Stadium.
